Lumpinee Boxing Stadium is the largest Muay Thai stadium in Bangkok and all of Thailand. Established on 8 December 1956, the stadium has been managed by the Royal Thai Army since then. Before moving to its present location on Ramintra Road, the stadium used to be located on Rama IV Road, close to Bangkok's famous Lumphini Park, giving Lumpinee Stadium its name. With international standards, large capacity, and several weekly Thai boxing events, Lumpinee Boxing Stadium is now one of the best places to watch Muay Thai fights in Bangkok.

History of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium
Lumpinee Boxing Stadium was established on 8 December 1956. It is now the largest standard boxing stadium operated in Thailand. Managed by the Royal Thai Army, the stadium used to be located on Rama IV Road until it relocated to its present location on Ramintra Road in February 2014. With international standards and a large capacity, the stadium is now ready to accommodate both Thai and foreign Muay Thai attendees in every season.
Lumpinee Boxing Stadium has been continuously the most important part of the relevant professional Muay Thai, including Muay Thai boxers, promoters, real Muay Thai local fans, and any other interested persons, for about 70 years. The stadium has been crowded on every match day with the cacophony of local, passionate fans who really love real, traditional Muay Thai. Such a great atmosphere is very unique; not all stadiums are the same. In other words, it is not just a normal stadium but the top destination for professional Muay Thai. None of the legendary and greatest Muay Thai boxers would have passed their prime of Muay Thai careers if they had never been the champions of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. However, its reputation is not only for the aforesaid roles but also for promoting the art of Muay Thai both domestically and internationally.
